Waiting Pavilion was built in the Qing Dynasty and was a place where people pick up, see off friends, shelter themselves from rain or wait for ferry in ancient time. As legend goes, the Emperor Qianlong once stopped over here. Although the Waiting Pavilion has lost its previous grand bustling at current time, people stop over here no longer for ferry, but they begin to expect the emerging of the ship when they step onto the pavilion.
